The Morning After...

We're pretty sure we'll want to see you all again after the wedding is over, so we'd like to invite you to brunch in Central Park at 10:00 on Sunday (6/15). We'll be setting up shop at the Great Hill at W 106th and Central Park West with bagels and cream cheese and Acme smoked fish (and coffee obviously).

You can get there by the 2, or 3 to 96th st, the 1 to 103rd, or the C to 103rd. From the 1, 2, or 3, walk north (streets go up) to 106th, take a right, and walk a few long blocks to the park at 106th and Central Park West. From the C, just go north three blocks to 106th and CPW.

Once there, go up the steps that rise to the right, then turn left, and we'll be at the picnic tables to the left. For those not good with steps, there is a no-step path at 108th and CPW. Bear right, up the hill, and then turn right, and we'll be at the tables on the right.

We hope to see you there (otherwise we'll have to eat more fish than we can handle).

Getting There by Subway

For those of you who are planning on taking the subway to the wedding, please leave yourself *enough time*! Fort Tryon Park is at the very tip of Manhattan, so even from the Upper West side, you are going to want to leave yourself about 45 minutes-an hour to get there. From other parts of the city, it will take longer.

For awesome subway directions, check out www.hopstop.com and click on "New York City." You then plug in your starting address and the destination address (190th street and fort washington avenue), and it will tell you which subway to take from wherever you are.

See you all soon!

Fashion Advice

We've been asked about attire. This is a tricky question. It's in the evening, but it's in a park. We feel that Park trumps Evening, so it will not be a black tie affair. Other than that, please wear whatever you like best. Thanks for asking.

Wedding Registry

We're done with our registries and hope you find them useful. The links below will take you to them. They include things we like and/or need, but we will most surely appreciate and enjoy anything you may wish to give.

We thank you wholeheartedly and hope very much to see you in June!

Getting to Fort Tyron Park--Linden Terrace

We are so excited that you'll be joining us at Fort Tryon Park for our wedding: it is an absolutely beautiful park located in northern Manhattan, just north of the George Washington Bridge.

The ceremony will be on Saturday, June 14th, 2008 at 7:30 p.m. at Linden Terrace in the park.

If you are driving, take the Joe DiMaggio Highway/Henry Hudson Parkway northbound to the first exit after the George Washington Bridge (Fort Tryon Park/The Cloisters exit). Note that this exit is only accessible heading northbound. If traveling southbound, take the Henry Hudson Parkway to exit 14-15. Immediately follow signs to Henry Hudson Parkway northbound. Travel north on the Henry Hudson one mile to the Fort Tryon Park/The Cloisters exit. Follow the road around and past the Cloisters, bearing right toward Fort Washington Avenue. The New Leaf Café will appear on the right. Free parking is available there. From the New Leaf Cafe, simply walk down the hill, past the Promenade, until you hit Linden Terrace.

If you are taking public transportation, find your way to the A train, and take it to the 190th Street Station. Exit via the elevator to Fort Washington Avenue. Walk north on Margaret Corbin Drive, entering the park through Maragret Corbin Circle. Walk straight into the park on the Promenade, directly to Linden Terrace.

You can also find a New York City subway map here: http://www.mta.info/nyct/maps/submap.htm

If you get lost either way, you can always call the New Leaf Cafe at 212-568-5323.

Sunday in the Park

If you haven't made your travel plans yet, consider staying through Sunday afternoon for a post-wedding brunch in Central Park. We are planning on having a picnic at the Grand Oval (directions to follow soon), from 9:30 am-1:30 pm on Sunday, June 15th. It will pretty chill (bagels, coffee, frisbee, soccer balls), but we would love to see you all there!
